Overview:
We are looking for a high-energy and social-saavy specialist who understands what it requires to build and maintain an online community. As a Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for building and socialization of our online content. Familiarity with the internet, social media sites, search engines, video-sharing sites, discussion boards and blogs is an asset. You must possess excellent written and communication skills in order to write and edit high quality content. Previous experience in interactive marketing is considered a plus. The ability to find solutions in order to generate measurable results is necessary as well as the generation of reports on those efforts. Selected candidate will require a computer and stable internet connection from home as they will be working from home.
What are we looking for?
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- actively update and post on our Facebook page. Respond to comments and inquiries. Review other pages that might benefit from our services, find new connections and ?like? or ?share? their postings
- actively update and tweet on our Twitter account. Respond to all tweets. Retweet, follow and comment other twitter accounts that we would benefit from or they would benefit from our services
- actively pin, repin and create boards on our Pinterest page
- write/compile 2 blog posts per week that pertain to our industry and about our services
- browse, research, comment and stay up to date various discussion boards, blogs and video sharing sites that pertain to our industry
- increase our demographics and activity/responses by monitoring social media networks for potential oppurtunities
- analyze our SEO by identifying website issues that might affect SEO and implementing best practices for search engine optimization
- use various site measuring tools to provide reports on metrics and find ways to improve on those metrics and how they translate to our site?s success
Required Skills:
- selected candidate must get familiar with Campayn. They must use it and get to know it really well. They must understand how Campayn is different from other services and really get informed on industry landscape first and foremost
- strong familiarity and knowledge with the internet, various social media sites, search engines, video sharing sites, discussion boards and blogs
- strong writing, research and communication skills
- working knowledge and familiarity of SEO
- working knowledge and familiarity of various site measuring tools
